Randi Gold, MPP, is Senior Associate Director of Federal Regulation and Payment Policy at the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology’s Washington DC office where she is responsible for the management, strategy, analysis, development and policy implementation relating to federal regulatory, reimbursement and payment issues. This includes taking regulatory and legislative action on major federal public policy initiatives before regulatory agencies, Congress and external healthcare stakeholders. She also represents the AANA in coalition groups and with external healthcare stakeholders on matters pertinent to CRNAs. Prior to joining the AANA, she spent eight years as a Senior Legislative and Regulatory Analyst with America’s Health Insurance Plans focusing on health insurance and health care issues at the state level, including insurance market reform, medical liability reform, health insurance plan benefits, and health information technology. Previously, Randi worked at the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association where she monitored and analyzed state and federal legislative and regulatory developments on Medicare payment and reimbursement issues. Randi received her B.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University and her Master of Public Policy from George Mason University. Randi has over twenty years of experience working in health policy and she lives in Maryland with her husband and twins.
